The Emerald Heart Cancer Foundation was incorporated in March, 2010, as a result of personal experience. In my own journey to heal from breast cancer, an unusual medical history ruled out the possibility of conventional care, and I had no choice but to seek alternative treatment. When financial stress became a real & significant obstacle to recovery, I found no organizations that could help financially if an individual was not receiving chemotherapy. It's our vision to help ensure that women in effective complementary & alternative medicine (CAM) cancer treatments have the financial support & other resources they need to pursue healing with dignity, hope & grace.
Why donate to us? Most cancer organizations fund future research into pharmaceuticals, a few help with conventional treatment --but there are women today in effective CAM treatments (many soundly evidence-based, almost none covered by insurance) who must have financial assistance in order to continue. With your donation, you will be directly helping to save lives, provide hope, and improve the quality of lives for women with cancer NOW. We will be giving grants to women in financial need as soon as we are capable of doing so. Will you help? For more information, please contact us.

The Foundation neither recommends nor endorses any particular treatment, whether complementary, alternative, or conventional. Treatment choices are personal and should always be made in consultation with your physician or other health care provider.
